Selected River Road Wine Trail tasting rooms are hosting artists to paint the landscapes along the historic route.

Selected River Road Wine Trail tasting rooms welcome artists to paint the landscapes along this bbreathtaking trail.

River Road Wine Trail tasting rooms host artists painting the landscapes along this historic route.

10.05.12: First Fridays Art Walk. 5pm-8pm. Free! Celebrate California Arts Day with Local Art, Live Music, Dance performances, light refrehmnents and specials in lcoal restaurants after 8pm.

10.20.12: Quick Draw 10am-12noon. Participating Open Studios & Plein Air Festival artists are invited to compete in a timed painting contest in Oldtown Salinas. Judging takes place at 1pm at the 4word Art Gallery with great prizes. Non-participating artists pay a small fee to be included.

10.20.12: GALA RECEPTION Artoberfest Salinas!. 12pm-5pm. Free! Celebrate the final day of Artoberfest during the Salinas Valley Food & Wine Festival with Local Artists who are part of the Open Studio Tour at the 4word Art Gallery, light refrehmnents will be served, live music.

10.20.12: Show & Sale. 12pm-5pm Voluntary & Free. Participating Artists hold temporary exhibitions along Main Street 200 block. Free for participating artists.
